Milling with Merfolk. Today we explore the mysterious world of the Merfolk. This world is full of life, love, and destruction. They seem adept at eroding the very things you hold dear.....your deck. I found that Merfolk, when provoked, will strike back with things such as Painter's Servant and Drowner Initiate, where all spells are blue, will allow you to pay {1} to Mill target opponent for 2. This is just a precursor to the vile nature Merfolk exhibit when fighting for their lives. When further provoked the Merfolk call on their Moonfolk cousins, Soratami Mindsweeper, and the Hedron Crab. These two take Mana and swap them in and out while milling your opponents for 3 per landfall and an additional 2 when the land is returned to your hand, they employ a technology called Terrain Generator to put those land returned to your hand back in play for an additional 3 cards milled per opponent. The Merfolk will call upon their champion Ambassador Laquatus to quell war and broker peace with the enemies of the Merfolk. They want nothing, but to be left alone these docile people. Do not be fooled by this, Ambassador Laquatus is a devious and fatal foe. When his moment is upon him, he will activate Training Grounds which reduces activated abilities costs by {2} and mill 3 cards for {1}: instead of {3}:. When Merfolk’s backs are against the wall with little room to maneuver, they call upon the mysterious and deadly Dreamborn Muse. Dreamborn Muse will activate Howling Mine and use the Anvil of Bogardan to bring about the Merfolk’s version of scorched Earth, which I've dubbed boiled Seas. Howling Mine makes everyone draw and extra card at your draw step while Anvil of Bogardan also makes you draw an extra card it also does not allow you or your opponents to discard more than one card during the discard phase allowing Dreamborn Muse to mill everyone for X where X is the number of cards in your hand at your upkeep. This has been a wonder and joy to watch these beautiful creatures operate during a time of war. Just remember the wise words of Urza, "Don't fuck with the Merfolk!”

Have you considered Deprive to help Hedron Crab along?

Good fit for the deck, however, the Mindsweeper/Terrain Generator should do the trick. If for some reason I would need to counter Deprive would fit perfectly. As it stands right now though, with all the card drawing, I would need Soratami Mindsweeper. Thanks for the suggestion.
