I would consider switching out maybe four creatures total for some Collosal Might. and/or some Double Cleaves. Good instants that your opponent won't see coming, to either inflict a LOT of pain or take out his creatures. Also JonBomb makes a good point. Overrun is a BEAUTIFUL card. You might check out Beastmaster Ascension as well. It would work well in a quick creature deck, and gets counters just for attacking. Overall good deck, ill give it a thumbs up.
ah..you meant goliath. i found the card.
hamletback giant?
terminate wouldnt be a bad way to go.....Check out Putrid Leech. If you can clear the path for him, then you can do some heavy damage, quick given his low mana cost. The two life thing is a risk but I've found that it can be worth it. Solid deck though.
you dont have a legal amount of cards....you need at least four more cards in your main deck to have a legal card count. and the Helix pinnacles should be the main focus of the deck If your going to have them in there....some Beastmaster Ascensions would do well. and maybe some Llanowar generators if your going for the Helix victory. good base deck but could use some work.
i have a mill deck as well, If you wouldnt mind checking it out after you read a few things from a friend... 1. I CANNOT believe you have a black and blue mill deck without the card Mind Funeral. :) It is a definite game winner for me. 2. I have gotten some good suggestions to use a card called Drowned Catacombs. Might help the mana situation a little better. 3. And finally I would like to say the Chronozoa is an awesome card, I have never seen it before now. I use Gomozoa myself but they are both nice cards. Hope you enjoy and appreciate the input.
Ranger of Eos could be a good addition when you run into trouble getting your little guys out...once you have a few of your Veterans out and Honor of the Pure, your Mana 1 creatures will be buffed up. Its from Shards of Alara so its still type 2. IF you can come up with something to take out...OR it might be worth your time to build a sideboard, since its tournament legal and you look forward to playing in tournaments with it....
Why the Life gainers in the sideboard? And why Terramorphic Expanse in a mono-color deck? is there some landfall in there?
thanks for the advice...I actually tried to stay away from the Coat of Arms because, 1.- I don't have any, and 2.- Most people i play with use Tribal decks. Then it becomes a double-edged sword. I will definitely take it into consideration though. I have full intentions of adding the Howl of The Night Pack's as well, just need to get my hands on them...Thanks.
Just working with what I've got...you make a valid point though.
ahh. My apologies. Im new to the site, and am just now realizing a few things. Haha.
Its actually not that high, Im just very strict with keeping decks to a sixty card minimum....This deck looks great though. Luminarch Ascension is one of my favorite cards from the Zendikar set...
I like the idea of more Jace, but i need to get my hands on them first. And originally i had some Reliquary Towers and two Howling Mines and one more Font of Mythos. I took them out to add some more creature protection. I was having trouble finding the Drowned Catacombs on database but i got it...Thanks for the feedback Everyone...
High card count by my usual standards but i would love to play against it...it looks like a fun deck to play with as well....
you mean darkwater catacombs? and im keeping it T2 btw...
underworld dreams isnt a good card for me in the sense that Im not trying to harm my opponent. I want to mill him. It would be a waste of a card...
it basically adds the unblockable effect as well....
I would take out the Whispersilk Cloaks and add the Nemesis Mask. Its cheaper and provides a way to damage opponents creatures at the same time. Cranial plating to one creature and the nemesis Mask to another...You cant go wrong there bro....
