The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Comments welcome, deck has not been playtested yet I'm also playing with the idea of removing the blooms for sol ring to be able to play thinker 2nd turn, any thoughts...

Well seeing as this is more combo based, I would keep the Lotus Petal's in. In my own personal artifact deck I have one Sol Ring and a Mox Diamond. The reason is they are zero cost to cast and can act as you sacrifice. Also, a land I would suggest acquiring is Tolarian Academy. It is awesome. Here is a link to my deck, and while the goals may be different, they all hold the same basis, could give you some nice ideas for cards to add. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=303727 ~TheyCallMeTim...

Thanx man, mand my thoughs on the bloom were I can't use it till 3rd turn by which time I have enough mana to cast tinker anyways where as with sol ring I can play tinker turn 2
A turn three tinker is still as effective as a turn two tinker. the thing is Lotus Bloom's zero cast cost. You can play the combo on turn two is you have two islands and a lotus bloom but still iffy. You are just getting as much effectiveness from lotus bloom as sol ring. Even though sol ring would require one card less, but still either way, you really don't lose. ~TheyCallMeTim...
Tru enough, the bloom leaves my mana open for counters as well which is good
with a perfect hand you can play thinker in first round!! NICE
but why Ink nexus
The nexus is pure contingency, if I need a finnisher blocker, its not nessasary but I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it
Example: let's say I play blightsteel 3rd turn I have a tolarian academy island and a nexus if my opponent was able to path my blightsteel or something I'd be in trouble the nexus will buy me.a few turns
ok, then i have no comment, just beware removal
Lightening greaves for for protection and haste 8 counters and the ramp from the blooms should be enough, ill be in trouble against doom blades tragic slip is my biggest concern, cus I won't be able to deal with multiple removal, but that's wut the nexus's are for just in case and it'll buy me a turn or two to get anouther tinker
The problem with this deck is that it's not legal in anything and is also not worthy of casual play because nobody would want to play against this deck. If you wanna look at a fair Blightsteel Colossus deck then look at mine: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=309973 Otherwise, use cards like quicksilver amulet or shape anew to get blightsteel out.
Lol the guys I play with use placesets of rav lands in pretty much every deck we don't play with restrictions my one buddys got a blazing shoals deck that usually beats this on a reg basis, gotta hate first turn raging goblin killing you befor your first land drop. But yes for most metas this deck is useless if I was going to make it legal I'd play a R/B/G eldrazi polymorpgh version of this using awakening zone, dragon fodder, I'd run 2 eldrazi and 4 polymorph, or for standard B/W shape anew blightsteel.
