Personally, I think Thalia went in because it counters a lot of control decks, causing them to have to play around it. It delays them and it also fights off crazy combo decks as well.

I'm very curious as to why Braid of Fire is in this deck. In theory, it's an awesome card that can be used for red ramp, but it can only be used for red instants during your upkeep. Since mana dissipates at the end of every step and turn, I see the card as nearly useless except for the very few instants you have.
You're missing out on Dryad Militant man.
I think that's what he was made for. To be ridiculously broken without trying XD
For blink commanders I can't help but fall in love with Norin the Wary.Check out mine if you want :D
Ever think of adding in rite of flame? It'll help with mana ramp.
I think Firefist Striker could replace some instants because he's just a phenomenal card and you're sure to have enough creatures for the battalion trigger.
I would replace Suntail Hawk with Glint Hawk since it could potentially add more quest counters to your Quest.
You could play Muddle the Mixture to transmute into Halimar Excavator if you want that to be your main win condition.
You'll probably need at least 2 land a Nettle sentinel a birchlore rangers and a glimpse of nature for the best result then just keep comboing until you get a priest of titania or elvish archdruid and concordant crossroads and emrakul
Alright so if you want to make this deck competitive you're gonna need a better mana base with shocks and things like that
If you have the absolute perfect hand you can get 84 creatures first turn.
