I would consider making white a minor part of the deck. then you could do U/B with stuff like buried alive, and reanimation like animate dead, exhume, living death etc. Or is this a standard deck? I forgot what sets are standard. If you make it black then you could use disciple of the vault with two sharuums

get more wellwishers. Once you have four or five elves in play, a wellwisher is a serious pain in the ass for someone who's trying to kill you. besides that, as long as you have a few elves that produce mana, you can use whatever elves you like. But I tend to agree, less variety and more copies of a card is how you'll achieve consistency
I like the reanimation aspect. you have some pretty nasty creatures. Something like animate dead would fit in very well. Blightning is a great card. I would throw in two more of those. Maybe take out one Rage reflection because they cost six mana and once you have one in play the other three are dead weight.
looks good but i'd replace chill to the bone with something cheaper like doom blade
I like it a lot. Maybe Hellspark Elemental? I like them a lot beacuse the have flasback. For the sideboard, Volcanic fallout is great for wiping out small creatures. Vexing shusher and red elemental blast are good if you expect to run into blue control. Flashfires is good against anything white. mabye some card draw like browbeat. If you have hostility in play when you play browbeat, you'll either get to draw three cards or get five of the 3/1 tokens.
I like that aven riftwatcher has flying, but not that it has banishing. I would definitely suggest finding a way to make room for kitchen finks.
be careful w/ fleshbag marauder, especially when you only have a creature or two on the board. It's ability can backfire pretty easily, but i'm not saying to take it out or anything. I like the theme of the deck but I would replace the tendrils of corruption with corrupt. for two more mana you can target your opponent instead of just one of their creatures. I don't see the six mana cost vs four being a big problem, since for both of these, the more swamps you have in play the more effective they become
I forgot you have birds, lol.
I agree, it doesn't seem very balanced. I think Anger would be good as well as the green one that gives your creatures trample, i'm drawing a blank on the name. If you're going to run big creatures you want a way to get them out quickly and consistently. I'd recommend more land or some kind of acceleration like mana producing elves, seething song, something. Also, Elvish piper or sneak attack would be great for your deck. As far as balancing it out, you have lots of big creatures that cost a lot, but not a lot of creatures that you can get out early on
Gotta agree that it's a control deck. I would run sinkholes if you have them and maybe one other card for land destruction. (rain of tears, icequake, choking sands, whatever.) It would help you take full advantage of tainted aether. Maybe a way to search for it too. I don't know what you would use. Diabolic intent's out since you're not playing creatures, and everything else either sucks or is banned. maybe diabolic tutor? I guess? I just posted a deck that uses Isochron scepter with creature direct removal and it works out really well. Oh yeah, dash hopes is great too
I actually usually play those instead of terrors but when I typed them in on the deck thing they didn't show up. Maybe I typed it wrong? this is the first deck i've posted so i'm still getting used to working it
I may be stating the obvious but last time I checked Morphling was the best creature for blue control. Is this deck for type II or just casual play or what? Ghastlord of Fugue's not bad either
whoops. how do I delete a comment?
...unless you're playing discard
lose the underworld dreams. it's not worth playing unless you're playing something like prosperity or stroke of genius. Same thing with Megrim. Unless you're playing a discard deck it's just not that good
