Deck Description

I don't like long fights, though this deck lacks the ability to generate mountains on demand, it is filled with low cost cards. So as the turns go by you can play more and more cards dwindling your opponents points down to 0.... or less if your into overkill.

Deck discussion for By Fire be Purged!

Really great deck, though I would suggest furnace of rath instead of fire servant. And if you have the money to go all out on this deck, run lightning bolt which are staples in burn. instead of shock. And instead of thunderbolt run skullcrack. Aside from that, great deck!

Silly me, I had forgotten all about Lightning bolt, I'll switch that out right away. I'll also take you up on Skullcrack, same damage plus two other effects at a 1R cost, what's not to like. As for Furnace of Rath its a very good enchantment to have on the field but I like having the option of defending if I need to, so it'll defiantly be a side deck item or I might decide to go half and half on it, I dunno. Your input has been very helpful to me, thank you.

Not a problem, I've been playing burn decks for nearly 5 years now and enjoy helping people with theirs.

Amazing Deck. I've played against this deck personally and I must say; Either I'm lucky enough to have a roughly 50% win rate... or this deck makes me throw the one I was using on hiatus out of frustration. This is a Coupe De Grace of burn decks, though I seriously recommend Chandra Ablaze or Chandra Nalaar to help a little more in situations where the game is forced into Mid or Late game. Otherwise; Scary man, scary.
