Deck discussion for The Meanest deck in Standard

mogis is kinda bad(1 of two cards i disagree with)
Spellheart chimera just gets killed too easy. The best creature for control post rotation is prognostic sphinx. It protects itself and digs for more things to help keep you ahead, its slower but works like a charm.
Besides that you have 0 card draw besides Keranos, I would probably turn those mogic into something like read the bones or divination.

i completly agree with you, tho mogis is good just not 3 copies good.
I would go down to 1 mogis and get either read the bones or divination or even sign in blood will work
i would remove spell heart chimera, and ashiok isnt a strong enough planeswalker to run 4 copies of try 1-2 of her and 1-2 of the m15 liliana.

yeah, I agree with most of those choices.
I honestly don't like mogis is just slow(Even for control decks)
I like sign in blood better for midrange, I prefer read the bones in control and it gets you 4 cards deeper rather than two. The scry helps set up your later turns or filter lands so i feel its just better.
I mean any deck that is made fro post rotation has to be taken with a grain of salt as once khans get spoiled a lot will change.

mogis might be slow but its fast for control. it pretty much reads you lose in 10 turns unless you want to give up all your damage in which case i dont die and get more cards.

ok i think i will cut down to 2 mogis. I cant really afford to lose spellheart because if i lose spellheart i have win condition. I agrree that i should have more card advantage, but disagree that ashiok isnt 4 copy worthy.
Why ashiok is powerful:
He hits the board turn 3, and goes up by 2, making it difficult to kill.
His +2 and -10 screw your opponent over so hard by messing up their scrys and draws,
and over time he builds up your own personal army that can eventualy bacome a win condition.

i have made a few changes to the deck accordingly.
thanks everyone for the feedback

i dont think liliana vess is control worthy at all. maybe before rotation she wouldve been, but after rotation in control? no

We weren't ripping on ashiok that hard, we just meant that because you built this for post rotation there should be no reason to run 4x like maybe 3x but 4x just seems alot.
Post rotation you should have more options for protection/card advantage.

She is control worthy, she allows you to run more 1of removal as you can use her to tutor for them when you need it. Very control worthy.

and she allows you to strip your opponent of cards

i think liliana is good, but i cant afford another 5 mana permanent. if i were to put in a liliana, i would take out a keranos, but keranos is just better so im not going to do that. I have tested the deck again and again, and i do think 4 ashioks works.
on the other hand, if i were to cut down to 3, what would you suggest adding?

I also added back in the 4th dissipate and cut down to only 1 mogis

I honestly don't have anything to suggest to fill the void until the next set starts to get spoiled. If you were using RTR block cards that would be another story.
