I've been dancing with the Sphere of Safety. An easy to use deck archetype using Sphere of Safety and Enchanments can be used to build a lot of different decks. Just take the Sphere of Safety and a handful of useful enchantments and you can build decks using Door to Nothingness, Azor's Elecutors, Curse of Exhaustion and Knowledge Pool, or in this case life gain. Of course, you could go with a card like Suture Priest, or Soul Warden instead of Shattered Angel, but the Shattered Angel provides a better offensive threat. Suit yourself.I enjoy brewing in Magic. I consider brewing to be part of "playing" Magic. It takes time and energy to brew. The decks I brew are budget builds. I feel building on a budget makes sense as expensive cards are usually overpriced and overrated. I do not want to contribute to the predatory financial imbalances that already impact the game. Cards often drop in price post-rotation, so it is often best to delay getting cards. When you build budget decks and you win, you win. It's not just an expensive win-card doing the work for you, its about skill at combining and playing the cards. It takes more skill to pilot a budget deck as they have less room for error. Luck, of course, still plays its part.
The game play video has 2 rounds of the modern version followed by 1 round of a standard version.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2y4KFjkJlo
