If you want a challenging deck to play with, look no further. This is a rainbow deck using all the colors to open the Door to Nothingness. It's a road, which for your opponent, will lead absolutely nowhere. However, it is a path fraught with perils. The guildgates and keyrunes help provide some much needed mana generation, but you will still have to survive the early rounds. This deck will not match up well against rush decks because it often requires you go to turn 4 before you can even hope to block. The keyrunes provide some board presence, but the defense is provided mostly by the enchantments, especially the Sphere's of Safety. The enchantment defense is also useful if you choose to try an Azor's Elecutors style deck.Counting lands quietly in twos takes a bit of patience. As this is a budget build, it will win some and lose some. It's not an easy win. Having an alternative win condition is always important and in this case, it is probably the most likely scenario. The side deck might prove useful in game two or three. Nevermore is a useful enchantment once you have an idea what your opponent is running as a deck. I've tried to avoid using any creatures and instead rely on a heavily defensive stance to provide the time to open the door to the opponent's bleak future.
Creatures? We don't need no stinking creatures! Game play video is here:http://youtu.be/jtERq_L8jGE
