Amazing. Here I like the use of magma jet, this way you can discard what you don't need and get what you need real quick.
Only thing I can suggest is replacing volt charge or magmaquake with Urza's Rage, for a big nice cup of 10 uncounterable unpreventable damage. It's an istant so it works well with Braid of Fire.
Bravo again Mashitta :)

Yup, Urza's Rage would really be good. I've considered that too. But my creatures are enough to take care of the floating mana I produce. I kinda' like Volt Charge already, it just gives more age counters on the Braid of Fire. Thanks for the help Razka! Really nice.

Rise of the Hobgoblins = more creatures

well there is a weakness to using braid. u need to focus more on ur instant burn spells personally. cause by ruling, if u dont use that mana on ur upkeep it pretty much vanishes.

Yep, that's why I use instant spells like magamaquake and comet storm. So that I could cast it while there's still floating mana provided by the Braids. And Figure of Destiny / Spikeshot elder to use the excess mana floated by the enchantment.

you should add a cave in it doesn't seem your deck relies on creatures so a free 2 damage to each creature and player seems like it would be effective in this build.fireblast works well in here too i like the braid of fire/comet storm combo it seems very interesting.
So
-1 figure of destiny (good 1 drop but if you get mana screwd your in trouble)
-1 magmaquake
-1 Idyllic Tutor
-1 mountain/snow covered mountain
-1 plains/snow covered plains
The mana curve on this deck is really low so i think your fine with 18 lands plus you have lots of tutor effects deck manipulation to get that braid of fire etc.
+2 Cave In
+2 Fireblast
+1 Enlightened Tutor/Path to Exile'
This should make the deck slightly better but the way it is really solid build i like the concept. you don't need another enlightened tutor due to the fact you have a playset of braids but you gotta do whatever to get that braid or braids of fire in play and mess your opponents day up ya know, also bonfire of the damned can't be that bad of a choice in here either i'm not that big on standard either but its still a really good card regardless. anyway thanks for looking at my valakut deck i'll try to get time to look at your other decks too ^_^

I will playtest a couple of Cave in. But I kinda like Firestorm/Pyrokinesis more. Fireblast is good finisher but it doesn't look good with the overall theme of the deck. I really need that 1 Idyllic Tutor, because there's just those situations where it is just better than Enlightened tutor. I'll just keep it in a 3:1 ratio. Bonfire of the damned is a sorcery, still good though, but I think magmaquake would do the job. And 21 lands is just alright, I can just tutor Top too so that I could filter it out. After all, I have a Dark Depths just sitting an can readily be removed. It's just a fun to win with Dark Depths surprisingly. But thanks for the ideas, deathtyrant, I will definitely look into that.

I really love the whole concept and that extra Dark Depths makes it a little more special. How 'bout more X damage spells?

I think I already had enough. And if there are instances where I floated mana from Braid of Fair without those spells, I can use my creatures for it. Thanks~

+1 for Armageddon! Damn who needs lands really? That's cheating man!

Mana Web could be good too though.

That's a little painful. But I'm already contented with Armageddon to swipe out lands.

Braid of Fire was not meant to be played in a universe where mana burn does not exist.

Which is what makes it so AMAZING! As soon as mana burn disappeared, this card became broken and deserved to be exploited! I love the combination with Armageddon, GENIUS AND SO UNFAIR!

I was going to suggest a few red x spells, but then I realized that they were sorceries and wouldn't work during the upkeep. I'm really not a red or white player so I can't make a lot of helpful suggestions, but after looking it over I do love this deck.

If you wanted a major overhaul for flavor, consider using green/red/white with Upwelling, then you could play all the sorceries you wanted and even store mana between turns! Thanks for commenting on my decks! :)

Also, Privileged Position>Greater Auramancy. This will protect your lands and your un enchanted creatures.

Instant X spells really do good with Braid of Fire. I really like Privileged Position but the casting cost is too much for me to appreciate. But I'll look into that when I'm doing playtests. Thanks Beowulf85~

The only way that could work is with upwelling

True That! Instant X spells already does the job.

you could sideboard fanning the flame from stronghold ( x burn spell with a buyback cost )

0

That could really be good if it was an instant. Nice idea of abusing a buyback spell though. Thanks~

How about Devil's play as an instant, it also has the benifit of flashback so that a pretty much guaranteed win in the turn 6-7 of the game.

Yeah Devil's play is good but it's a sorcery. I need an instant to abuse Braid of Fire. But thanks Snaketoast!

0

True, for some reason I thought it was an instant. Volcanic Geyser might be an option too. Or Flaming Gambit although it's not standard.

Ow, Thanks for the suggestions! I will definitely look into those! Thanks again snaketoast!

Ja, Really abusing of the Braid of Fire! Nice idea. My only critic is what exactly is the place for Spikeshot Elder, as I don't see any way you raise its strength. Pay 1RR for 1 damage is not very profitable for me. In the late game you may have lots of mana to spend, but I just would prefer another thing.

If you have time I would appreciate you could see my two decks:

3 for 1 damage is not bad at long games when your Braid of Fire can float around 20+ manas. Thanks~
