Here's a weird idea I had: Make a red deck with lots of creature-burning spells to control the game. Then bring out Stuffy Doll, the win con, and start burning Stuffy Doll instead to kill your opponent. Stuffy Doll also makes a punishing blocker.Since this idea (as far as I know) is unique, I may not have heard of some cards that would be perfect for this deck. So please give suggestions.
On turn one, you can lay down a Slumbering Dragon, Elixir of Immortality, or cast Flame Slash/Lightning Axe if there's a creature threat out. You generally shouldn't worry about your opponent casting things like Goblin Guide next turn; A Porcelain Legionnaire or a future burn spell can take care of it later, or a Pyroclasm around turn 3 or can be especially effective against aggro. Gitaxian Probes should be cast when you draw them. It's basically just there to thin out your deck for free, plus you can determine your opponent's next moves (important in a control deck).Continue to control the game until you have enough mana for Stuffy Doll. If you suspect indestructible removal like Tragic Slip or Path to Exile, be ready to cast Apostle's Blessing. Unless you have multiple copies in your hand, be prepared to avoid countering by waiting for your opponent to be tapped out.Once Stuffy Doll is out, just start burning it whenever safe.Other potential win cons/assistance include gradual death by Valakut, Slumbering Dragon, Porcelain Legionnaire, Jaya Ballard, and/or Earthquake.
