No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

A lot of the cards in this deck used to be standard legal at the same time. But outside of Standard, these cards see no use and thus are very inexpensive. I checked and could currently buy this deck with TCG Direct for under $9.

How to Play

On turn 1, you have two possible plays: Rakdos Cackler or Stromkirk Noble. Play Stromkirk Noble first if possible so you can make better use of its ability.

The deck intentionally uses two-drops that are compatible with Burning-Tree Emissary. The best possible play is to do Burning-Tree into Lightning Mauler and attack with both. You could also put down your Burning-Trees and then throw a Madcap Skills onto your turn-1 play. Or any other creature. Whatever works at the time.

Not too many 3 drops. One option is Ahn-Crop Crasher, which is perfectly solid. Another great option, if it can currently be done, is to play Kari Zev's Expertise. You can then throw down another creature for free (this is another reason why I chose a lot of 2-drops) and attack for a lot. If you don't have any 3-drops, which is likely, just use another 2-drop, 1-drop, or a combination of them.

Your only four drop is Hellrider if you have one. A nice finisher, even if your opponent has blockers.

At any point, you could use Incinerate to take out blockers or finish off an opponent. If your opponent wouldn't die from it, I would recommend saving it for later.

If you're running out of things to do and have mana available, you could invest in Hellion Crucible. This would eventually get you a decent-size attacker. Heck, you could use its ability off of Burning-Tree if you had to.

During any combat, you could bloodrush Rubblebelt Maaka to get in extra damage, counter a burn spell, or win a fight with another creature. Large creatures are often best ignored, and it may be best to simply bloodrush unblocked creatures.
