This is an EDH deck that contains 3 themes to it that each support one another the first being keywords mostly through equipments. using Odric's abilities you can have your team swing in a lot of cases without risk to yourself being left exposed and within these combat situations having an initial upper hand. Secondly the deck has a soldier tribe sub theme that can help pump out keyword abilities if Odoric hasn't or cannot hit the field this theme is backup by the third and final theme token generation. The tokens produced in this deck are all soldiers that help build your defenses with the keyword synergies mentioned before whilst helping supply you with needed pressure against your opponents.I hope you enjoy the deck.
When playing this deck I like to ensure I'm applying pressure within the early first few turns by swinging in with small creatures in my opening hand. However as the game progesses making sure I do not leave my self open to attacks in the later game so if possible i will tutor for something that can continually pump out tokens or provide my team a keyword ability such as vigilance or first strike such as mobilization. Odric himself is not vastly important in the early game and I find he is better played once you have developed your board state to a point where Odric will help close the game by securing those harder to share keyword such as indestructible and double strike. stoney silence is your biggest enemy as you will be unable to use your equipment when it hits the field which is why I try to reserve my exile permanents affects for abilities such as those that will break down your strategy. Most importantly try to have fun with the deck otherwise whats the point.
