Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

How to Play

When you start the game, 22 cards will be open to you. The one you really should get, though, is jaddi offshoot. Play a basic forest and tap to summon it. If you get khalni garden instead, dont get upset. It creates a 0/1 for you! Turn two there wont be much action. You play a land and jaddi gains you a life. But then tap your two lands to summon overgrown battlement. During your next turn, you can play a land and summon axebane guardian. Tap the battlement to add 3G to your mana pool. Use this mana for more defender creatures, but the ones you should do most are vine trellis or more battlements. And, thats not all. You'll still have one mana to spare! You can use this mana for any one mana creature, but hopefully a defender. Or you could start going aggressive and hit your opponent with a scythe tiger. (One mana 3/2.) By turn four, you have way more than enough mana to summon siege mastodon. Maybe even enough for two!

Deck discussion for The big khalni monster

Very nice deck! I never thought about Overgrown Battlement this way, but WOW. And I know that this may be a budget deck, but one suggestion. Add an Eldrazi. Doesn't have to be a titan, (although they are very good, hence them being titans) but it could be a lesser one. For instance, Desolation Twin. 2 10/10's for 10! Sandsteppe Mastodon would be a good prelude, then BAM. If you add an evasion spell or two, (or one that copies) two virtually unblockable 10/10's. Still has my like the way it is though!

Dude, thank you so so so much. I joined this site about 3 months ago, and this is my first comments someone's given me! I'll take this into consideration, but I just ordered the deck like 4 days ago and i have most of my cards already. Lol. Ill probobaly just put the card on here for other people. Or i could go to my local cardshop to get it. Acctually my LOCAL cardshop prob don't have it, so ill go to the toy vault instead. Lol.

Any strong eldrazi's to keep this deck in budget? I thought about desolation twin, but im looking for something strong with trample or deathtouch, that way i can eliminate opposing blockers. Eldrazi devestator does fit that catagory, but if I draw it right away i can't use it. Ill consider adding two

First of all, your welcome! And welcome to MTG Vault! Second, I only found a few Eldrazi fitting the target area. Devastator, as you mentioned, Reality Smasher, and Walker of the Wastes. However, the last two need the new colorless mana to be cast. Maybe a couple Hedron Crawlers? As for Deathtouch, no size-able ones.

But just wondering, could you help me with one of my decks? Specifically, Infini-Turn. Thanks!

i could help you, also, i thought about those eldrazi, but i wouldn't add another type of mana? Especcially since i need wastes, and i dont want to swap any forests. While they are good cards, they just don't fit in here. (And hedron crawler doesnt have defender) Nice suggestions, though

Dude I playtested this deck cuz i got it today and guess what? I only had two lands but i had 42 mana available! And then all i did was tap one overgrown battlement to summon eldrazi devastator (witch i added in after getting it because i had the card. Its a common) with mana to spare!

Thats what I like about this deck. It only costs twelve bucks and its overpowered. Technically you could even call it aggro because I summon my strongest creatures right away. #Turn four siege mastodon.
