Any strong eldrazi's to keep this deck in budget? I thought about desolation twin, but im looking for something strong with trample or deathtouch, that way i can eliminate opposing blockers. Eldrazi devestator does fit that catagory, but if I draw it right away i can't use it. Ill consider adding two

Dude, thank you so so so much. I joined this site about 3 months ago, and this is my first comments someone's given me! I'll take this into consideration, but I just ordered the deck like 4 days ago and i have most of my cards already. Lol. Ill probobaly just put the card on here for other people. Or i could go to my local cardshop to get it. Acctually my LOCAL cardshop prob don't have it, so ill go to the toy vault instead. Lol.

Oops, sorry about that. Its been a while since i've ever used morbid. Acctually, I think I only have one deck with a morbid card, if that. I'm glad that you like torch fiend though.

I have the zendikar vs. eldrazi duel decks. I got them on black friday at barnes & nobles. Only $15! And, guess what: NO WAIT! I also made a mono green mana ramp deck. Acctually, it doesnt even use many lands at all! Withing the whole deck, i used 18 lands. Four khalni gardens and 14 forests. The gameplay is pretty much using defenders with manaramp abilitys, and then summon your huge creatures. Check out my THE BIG KHALNI MONSTER budget deck!

Great deck!

I think though, you should get rid of brimstone. I know this card is a key piece to the combo, but since this is a burn deck, you shouldn't have too many creatures, and you don't. In this deck, there is only 14 creatures. And by the time you draw it, unless you used mass muligans or got very lucky, i think most of your creatures would have died. Especcially since people would rather take four damage than give there opponent a 4/3 on turn one. And i know you have tormenting voice and your plan is to discard additional lands, but if you dont have any you will be discarding key pieces of the deck. I would remove arsonist and just add two more satyr's. Then fill the other nine slots with defenders and more burn spells, because you never know when you will run out. Plus, torch fiend allows you to destroy any artifact.

Just suggestions. I still love the deck! 71/2 stars!

I have two leyline of punishment. But i really do think you should add artifact and enchantment removal because if you're playing vintage or kitchen table somebody could move circle of protection: red from their sideboard 2 there hand, or they could play orbs of warding if the game goes long, OR you could fall victim to Aegis of the gods. (1W Enchantment creature: human soldier: you have hexproof.) other than that, good deck.

I have a mono red burn deck and a u/r burn deck. My mono red focuses on just burn, but i wasted my guttersnipe on B/w lol. Although red burn still good since i have my satyr firedancer in it and i have a card called becon of destruction in it. You should check it out. Its 6 or 7 mana and only does 5 damage, but it returns to your deck after being played.

I run a mono-white lifegain deck and some of my favorite lifegain cards are: Path of bravery, suture priest, arashin cleric, sacred nectar, and angelic accord are good lifegain cards. And Azor's eluctors provides a win condition as long as you have enough creatures to block damage.

Wow, over all the decks, i have seen, this is in my top 5. The ones above it are early turn combo decks. Although this is a great deck withought a win-condition combo. And it still prevails! Great job!

I've done 2 FNM's. I do them at the Toy Vault. I stopped because I always lose. Standard can be harsh, y'know. 'Specially with three sets dropping.

Not nescisaraly. Sacrificing is one thing. Dying is another. Like another example. "I use Putrefy and destroy my own creature." Now that is a death trigger. So, if you used a "destroy target creature" ability on your own then zulaport cutthroat's ability would work. Now if your spell said, "sacrifice a creature, draw a card." Then the other triggers wouldn't work.

Well, there is a bit to much sacrificing creatures. I dont know if you knew this, but sacrificing a creature doesn't count towards a death trigger. For example. "I use bone splinters and sacrifice elvish visionary." Your zulaport cutthroat's ability wont work, and you wont gain any life.

Not to be mean, zack. But how are you going to play murderous cut and complete disregard? Again not trying to be rude, im just asking because you added no swamps.

Yeah, your right. To fill in the extra 4 slots. Although with only 3 dragons you'd have to be lucky to have a dragon when you cast silumgars scorn.

Yes, as i said it is a really good deck. But i think you should use the extra 4 card-slots you have to add creatures or more cards with awaken. Or a card like secure the wastes that gets creatures out there.

It is a good deck, but i recomend you meet the 60 card standard. Great deck. Although it could use more awaken, or more creatures, because most of your negate spells wont be used on the turn stated.
