Deck Description

Mono Green Ramp.

How to Play

Ramp with a bunch of elves into Craterhoof. Or get a massive Omnath. But my favourite is getting a huge board presence with Genesis Wave/Eternal Witness/Nykthos. Been able to cast Wave for ridiculous amounts 3 times in one turn.

Deck discussion for Green Power

Any constructive criticism is appreciated. Would love to have a back and forth.
NO Eldrazi's!!! I f#@*ing hate Eldrazi's and I don't care if they'd be a better win con.

dryad militant, strangleroot geist and groundbreaker are very good mono green creature if you want to go the agro route. not a fan of the worldspine, seems like it would just be hard to ever resolve in modern, even with arbor elf and nykthos it would be hard. good removal option is dismember

Thanks for the suggestions. I just got back from a modern event now and went 3-1 with this. Last minute I did actually put a dismember in the S/B which came in handy. As well my first match up against Bogles I cast Worldspine on turn 4. And opp just couldn't deal with it.

Wow turn 4 world spine beats pretty much everyone, that I like. Glad we agreed on the dismember. Funny, but it's greens best removal without splashing. Dryad militant turns off a few modern decks, especially storm and goyf/snapcaster/delve. Strangleroot Geist is just hard to get rid of

I am very much debating the addition of Strangleroot Geist due to it's annoying qualities as well as it's haste. Hitting just one with a Craterhoof on a Genesis Wave could be a winning factor. My Ooze takes care of most graveyard shenanigans while being a bigger threat then the Dryad.

If you're going to be running the arbor elves then I'd recommend 4 utopia sprawl. That's 4 mana turn 2 and with multiple elves you can play pretty much anything in your deck.
