Decided to visit an old favourite of mine in the form of mono black devotion, not so mono black anymore. SaffronOlive from MTGGoldfish wrote about Imp's Mischief the other day and I immediately thought of putting it in this build. Something about redirecting any damage spell to my Obliterator makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. The addition of white is mainly for Pariah which seems like a pretty good soft lock when attached to Obliterator against any deck that want's to win threw combat. As well why not play a few Path to Exile with access to white along with my, go to white side board package. 1 Anguished Unmaking seems fine to take care of most anything.
Fairly simple I think, try to curve out by building up devotion. All while chipping away at opponents life total. A turn 1 Bloodchief Ascension can actually become a win condition late game, especially against certain decks like dredge or even storm. (If they don't get the Nuts and combo off on turn 2 or 3 that is.)As mentioned in the deck description Getting Obliterator in play with Pariah attached should be done as quickly as possible I believe. Then proceed to win the game. :)

Nice deck idea! +1 Also, you might want to consider lightning greaves as another counter to path to exile and fatal push for the sake of consistency. Also, swinging with obliterator on the turn it hits the battlefield seems kinda fun.
I had actually considered Lightning Greaves. If it gave hexproof instead of shroud I would have made room for it. My inspiration to come back to this deck was Imp's Mischief and I'm unable to target Obliterator if it's equipped with the Greaves. I may very well be wrong and it may be worth testing with tho.
I really like this brew! Have you though about adding wrath of god to the sideboard?
Thanks for the like. I think having access to Damnation for my sweeper is all I need.
After some thought I may add 1 copy of Flaying Tendrils or Drown in Sorrow. I haven't figured out which is more beneficial yet. the exile effect or the scry. I'm leaning towards the exile effect to prevent delve, reanimation or other graveyard shenanigans. Any thoughts on the subject?
I'm currently cleaning up my "follows" and since you were active during 2019, (with this deck) I'm keeping you as a person to follow!
