Yeah I put Cathartic Adept in as a filler one cost so that i could have more wizards, just until i got a better one. The merrow levitator is in 'cause he untaps with blue spells, therefore him + lavamancer's skill is pretty good.

I always wished I had the cards for a poison counter deck. Nice.

No problem :) I started a deck like this but I'm still trying to get some more cards together to make it work cohesively and consistantly.

What about Flood, Psychic Venom or Betrayal?

I actually like this. Usually Lich's Mirror seems to just delay the inevitable, since you have to start over with no mana and no defense, but in a deck full of shock and lightning bold and glitterfang, I think it would be very good.

Like it. It would be very annoying to fight, especially with gratuitous violence and everlasting torment.

I like retaliator griffin a lot but im still undecided as to whether I'm going to splash green in this deck. The mana searching capabilities might be very good though.

I don't play standard, I play casually with friends. None of us use standard decks. I changed it a little, what do you think?

Hmm Ill see if I can get my hands on one of those angels, good idea. And yeah, there are a lot of high cost creatures, but it plays well despite that with what testing I've done. The Suntail Hawk, Duskrider Peregrine, aven envoy and Cloudreach cavalry do ok early game.

well you could put four fogs in and take out a few forests for it. You're searching for land anyways.

Id go wood elves over llanowar, because they give you a forest not green mana. Beastmaster ascension is great too, as is overrun or tribal unity.

I have a wolf deck that works well every time. I'd suggest oracle of mul daya, wood elves, and maybe a few weak wolves (howling wolf, lone wolf) to protect yourself early on.
