A bit different approach this time, mixing up early burn with self damage in hopes of finishing off with Scourge + FlingOriginal:https://www.mtgvault.com/maldaron/decks/trying-to-make-scourge-work/

That design fringes more into combo territory, so card drawing becomes a necessity.I can recommend sigiled skink (which together with dragons rage channeller forms a small army that progresses a removal strategy. dismember is also one of the old flexible classics that were tied to death's shadow. An out of the blue pick would be noxious revival which has wide ties to vintage combo designs.Adding it will allow you to save any scourges or flings, and will also work well with the different removal pieces.I can also recommend devour flesh in the sideboard against decks that exploit that you go for a lifeloss.

Noxious Revival might actually be worth a try as a one-of.
It has great synergy with street Wraith and kolaghan's command.Street makes it possible to use instants instantly. Each time you recast kolaghan's command you sort of get to do two of the things you usually want to.
Just saw a deck by isacfish running both phyrexian unlife and death's shadow, and come to think about it, that might be exactly what you need.A mardu variant of scourge might be the right way.Angel's grace might be usefull too.I think he might be working on an adnauseam death's shadow variant, but he's a bit too random about it so far
In mtggoldfish you can find a recent video of saffronolive playing 12 shadow. The build looks like it has plenty of room for improvement.
