I just realised I had to remake my Black/Red infect deck due to realising that Assault Strobe is a Sorcery not an Instant, which makes it very difficult to win past turn 3. Anyhow the main plan for the turn 3 win is: T1 - Swamp or Forest T2 - Forest or Forest --> Blight Mamba or Plague Stinger T3 - A combination of any 3 Giant Growth, Vampire's Bite Most likely this one is going to be a turn 4-5 win however as its not geared a much towards a Red/X Infect deck, however I feel it is more suited towards an endgame then those decks are, what with Blight Mamba and Putrefax. Alternate wincons still involve infect, utilising Livewire Lash or Garruk's Overrun ability to hammer infect past defenders. Still put this together rather quickly for FNM tonight, so heres to hoping. Also Yes, I would prefer Verdant Catacombs instead of Terramorphic, but I am unfortunatly at a loss for them at the moment and will not have time to order before tonight.

I absolutely love the synergy Infect and Livelash Lash have. I've struggled trying to make Infect decks myself (I can't pull myself away from adding control into them and slowing them down) . I originally had an infect idea using Overwhelming Stampede to force poison counters through--I think using Garruk like you have is a much better idea if you can't win quickly. A couple design questions: 1. Any reason you decided against Ichor Rats? They've become a staple in my latest Infect design. 2. Why Birds of Paradise for ramp over fetches?

Ah Fetches would be nice, but since I dont have any Verdant Catacombs I decided with birds. Also birds are a 1 drop and allow a little bit of flexibility since you can drop birds and a land rather thatn just a fetch. Final reason I think birds are a decent idea is they can, if necessary, chump block. I decided against Ichor Rats because I dont think I have ever had a game that was won with just that "1" poison counter from the rats, and since they sit at a measily 2/1 for 3 mana, specifically (1)(b)(b) they can sometimes sit in your hand if you cant manage out two blacks quick enough. It tends to be that when you win with Infect its through a major overkill, something like 12-15 poison counters rather than right on the money at 10. Making Ichor rats not very useful, I think their place is more in a U/B Proliferate deck.
