Deck discussion for Green Painter Hates Blue

seems like you really hate blue, maybe you should try to round this out so its not so defensive only against blue because red white and green will do alot of damage to you i.e. my decks check out http://www.mtgvault.com/viewdeck.php?did=11408 or http://www.mtgvault.com/viewdeck.php?did=4858

This is unique. If it wasn't type 2 I'd tell you to put in Worldly Tutor, or Sylvan Tutor to help get your Painters, but this looks good for a type 2 mono-green, anti-blue deck. I have a deck built similar to this but WB AB. Check it out: AB Massacre.

ianman222001, Did you even READ THE CARD LIST!!!!! OR THE EXPLANATION AT THE TOP!!! Painter's Servant costs 2 to play, that means Ideally second turn (especially with those tutors from type 1 there but sadly the deck wouldn't be standard anymore) you will have all permanents and all spells and all cards EVERYTHING become BLUE, ergo red, white, green, or black (which you forgot in your above statement) IT WON'T MATTER!!! Next time READ.

lol good call, nice rebuke. I like the deck, its a new idea to me. Just an idea, because i like to have a higher mana count, it might be worth putting more mana in.

Pro blue is awesome and all, but once a creature comes into play, its no longer under the effect of the painter's servant, and therefore back to it's original color. Basically, your creatures can't be bounced or killed directly.

you do relieze that if you make everything blue and your creatures have protection from blue, your spells wont work on them right?

jblaske: sorry I just have to... WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???? Painter's Servant changes everything not just stuff thats out of play. Read the card, check it, read it really close, look up judge rulings, It Changes Everything!! Now that that's taken care of, yes, JohnoJace is right, but the only thing you have to watch out for is Cloak and Dagger, other than that you're golden.

Ok, anyone that posts from here on out has to read the card list and understand that Painter's Servant changes everything to that specific color, in play, out of play, it doesn't matter. Look, this is a great deck and you guys that don't know what your talking about are trying to bash it, you really can't. The deck is solid. Great job Magi_Gir1, but I do still like your type 1 version better.
