Just an Old School Dimir Alchemy deck with some new cards and a Reanimator package.Nothing but pure fun! :)No Crusher because if I draw it I can't get it out of my hand and because it dies to pretty much every Black removal spell. Some of the card selection might seem a little odd but it leans into the self mill theme plus selecting cards that have the same effect but with different casting cost also helps turn on Newsie.
This is a Control deck that self mills into a Reanimator deck. I know! Complete insanity, right? So how do you play this pile of cards then? You are primarily a Control deck in the beginning, counter/kill everything that is a threat. Alchemy and Gaze helps you find the cards you need and starts filling the yard. Riverwinder is simply a cantrip at this point and any chance you get to Channel a Crab you should do so!Mid to late game you start using the yard for Gangler and/or Exhume. If at this point you have a protection or removal spell available it's often gg.Aqueduct bouncing Bog is something you should always look to do. Having a Riverwinder in hand when you cast Exhume into an opposing Relic is pure sweetness when you cycle the serpent after the Relic crack has resolved, (or just Stifle the crack with a Crab, either one brings me joy). Muddle finding the Exhume when it's not busy saying NO is obviously pretty decent.SB is just chock full of more controlling elements you can add depending on what your opponent is playing. So this turned into a massive colab project with people from all over the world contributing! Stay tuned, we ain't done yet!
