It been at least a decade since I've played a Voltron deck and when Light-Paws got released I just had to try and make something slightly different then the "regular" Lurrus Aura decks.
Mono W to avoid any mana issues and that also allows a couple of utility lands into the mix.I also have a weakness for White Weenie decks as that was the first deck I put together myself that had success outside of our kitchen table group. It also got me a top 32, (27th if I remember correctly), and in the price pool at the Nationals way back during the summer of Necropotence! :)Fun times.

Love auras! Did you consider Eidolon of Countless Battles by any chance? It'd be at the top of your curve for sure, but you can play it as an 4 cost aura, and it almost functions as an extra copies ethereal armor here. +1

I did not. The cost is pretty steep though?! Might even be prohibitive? I was considering a 2nd Chad but 3 mana is also kind of high so I'm currently off it pending further playtesting. Thanks for the tip tho, I love hearing about cards I haven't considered!
no problem! and yeah the cost is steep as an aura. i thought it was mostly fun because i misread light paws- didn't realize you have to cast the aura, so i was thinking the high cmc would allow some hilarious chains.
I wish! :)
I remember the iceage meta fondly. So many different things were happening in magic at that time, and though most thought of it as a "combo winter" it was a lot more than that. Sligh was a thing that I was trying to examine with computer simulations back then.
Ice Age & Alliances was indeed something special, (to bad they slipped Homelands in between, imagine if that was Cold Snap! What a block that would have been!!)
I've always been a big fan of cross over, and have a small dream that one day the "block war" format will be a thing.Your deck must be built from one block, but any block can be chosen. It would be cool. Then the ice age block could be played as "intended". Some might choose unlimited because of the power available, others might go for the eldrazi. I might go with zendikar for the mill :)
