Deck Description

Can you play Bob in a competitive Junk, (Abzan), build?
I don't know but I'd love to try so here is my early draft of such a deck idea.

I refuse to play the awful Bauble just to help with the Delirium and grow 'goyfs by one so I'm running Explosives and Bitterblossom in those slots. At least they are cards that impact the board and can be pitched by Lili or Brutality if needed.

Any ideas are welcome but please try to make them competitive in the current meta.

How to Play

No Rhinos, Tas or Kalitas to facilitate Bob. Leaves a heavy burden on 'goyf and Flayer to produce. Graveyard hate really hurts because of that.

Bob, Flayer and Souls are a match made in heaven so they are the reason to test this project out, (bin Souls and fix Bob triggers with the Flayer ability).

Cut 2 lands because of the lower casting cost median then a regular Junk deck and plugged in a Anafenza to test as she seems strong in a GY heavy meta.
Hoping the new fast lands will help in fixing old Junk mana base issues.

Mix and match SB cards as your meta dictate.

Update:
Played in a SCG Classic and the deck felt pretty good. The interactions worked when they were supposed to, the mana base felt solid except I kept wishing I had a 3rd man land, (maybe swap a Blooming Marsh for a Stirring Wildwood?).
A couple of Flayer hits, (especially with Bob in play), pulls you so far ahead so fast that you feel in total control.
Souls, (backed with Bitterblossom), still beats midrange mirrors and removal combined with disruption still causes problems for Zoo, Infect and Burn style decks, (Collective Brutality is insane and Dromoka's Command pulls double duty in these matchups).
Being woefully under prepared, (no real playtesting), cost me in a couple of my early games against a Human/Soul Sister build but that is not the fault of the deck.
Those lessons put me on a winning streak before I got rolled by Tron dropping Ugin on T4 twice and Lantern assembling the lock twice without any hate showing up in my hand, not much you can do there I suppose.

Changes made:
I added 2 more instant removal to the main in Fatl Push in place of a Souls and moved Pulse to the SB. It lowers the Bob flip cost even more and handles critter treats that Souls only delays. I also included a Needle in the board to handle Walkers and man lands plus any random activations I might run into.
I'm also waffling on weather Last Hope should be a Sorin, Solemn Visitor, they both seem to have the same issue, when they are good they are very good but when they are bad they just end up in the bin feeding Flayer and 'goyf...?

Deck discussion for Flayer in Modern Junk

It seems fun, but I'd definitely want a couple more basics and a couple less fetches. Unless you happen to have the green black needed for Abrupt Decay or Maelstrom Pulse, a blood moon will pretty much render you spelless.

4 basics in a 3 color Modern deck is pretty much the standard nowadays and 8 fetches are on the low end of the spectrum so I'm not sure that's where I'd start making changes. A surprise Blood Moon could be a problem but if one is expected then the fetch lands actually help you play around it. Also note that there are only 5 cards of the 75 that require more then one of any color, a good thing when facing a Blood Moon.

I appreciate the feedback though.
