Deck discussion for Infections

Add Putrefax, Sign In Bloods, Groundswells, Skithiryx The Blight Dragon, Blight Mamba, Hand Of The Praetors, You want More Early Creatures In Stinger/Mamba then you want Cyst Bearer.. Especially when if you keep a hand with the mamba and 2 giant growths and 2 forests their @ 7 poison before you know it and if you drop a hand of the praetors or a putrefax, their in trouble very fast.

Thnx for the comment. I can understand all but one of your suggestions. Putrefax. I don't know if I don't like him or what, but he doesn't seem that good to me. If you play him at the wrong turn, you'll waiste a lot of mana for maybe even nothing. But I'll throw one in to see if it works. Most of the cards you suggested are in my possesion and I will try them out.

I find vector asp to be relatively useless. I like the idea with tumble magnet, but since this deck is likely going to be an early game deck it's probably better to go with stabbing pain for early blockers. Cheaper, and has a chance of being removal too. Also, go vines of the vastwood instead of monstrous growth. It can protect your creatures as well as offering pump. Fume spitter and skinrender are also relatively useless if you don't have proliferation, because they don't really fit the theme. They can be great for removal if you have proliferate, but without prolif they are subpar in this deck. Here is my deck if you want to take a look.

Thnx for the comment. I hadn't noticed Vines of Vastwood yet, but it is pretty insane. It'll definetaly be better than Monstrous Growth. Vector Asp, Fume Spitter, Skinrender and Carnifex Demon are cards I didn't actually plan on putting in this deck, but I ran out of creatures with infect, so I had to compensate. Most of them did a pretty good job during testing though.

A Decklist Could Be Like

Lands - 25

4x Verdant Catacombs
2x Misty Rainforest
1x Marsh Flats
11x Forest
7x Swamp

Spells - 18

4x Panic Spellbomb
4x Giant Growth
4x Ground Swell
4x Cultivate
2x Primal Bellow

Creatures - 17

4x Plague Stinger
4x Blight Mamba
2x Putrefax
2x Skithiryx The Blight Dragon
3x Hand Of The Praetors
2x Ichor Rats

As for the Spell Bomb it makes so creatures cannot block. which is just insane for infect decks. Also 60 Cards With Fetches and Cultivate Means you should maybe 1 in 100 games be mana screwed. First turn spellbomb 2nd turn Mamba/stinger with a pump spell is pretty insane especially if you cast ichor rats to give them another poison counter and then hand of the praetors should win you the game with putrefax/dragon backup.

Maybe Even Cut Groundswell for Vines Of Vastwood

It looks like a good idea and if I'm able to get the cards needed, then I will try it out. Until then, I'll keep with the cards currently in my possession. Vines of Vastwood is going in the deck, as wel as some other cards from this decklist. As soon as I change my deck, I'll edit the decklist for this deck.
