The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
This is a mono red, modern deck, where the main feature is its price.
While trying to destroy the opponent as fast as possible with an array of fast creatures, lethal burns, and tactical mind control cards, you are also focusing on building a large store of red mana to pump into a firebreathing creature.Game Over.

There isn't much strategy in the deck. It's just play creatures use a few burns and the off chance you can steal a creature hit them hard. But if your opponent can disrupt you then it's game over. I'd say I'm not a fan of this deck. I think it can win sometimes and I'm not sure what's cheap to substitute. I like the mana curve the deck has and plenty of lands. I'd say maybe add more enchantments to go on the idea of pumping a creature up.

Yeah, there isn't a lot of strategy in this deck, but then again, you aren't going to get a very strategical deck if you are only going to spend $5. I would like to add a few enchantments, and I have a few in mind that would work well and suit the budget well too. Thanks for commenting!
I made a budget deck and really trying to come up with a 6$ deck. It's a lot harder than I initially realized so I applaud you on being able to :)
Yeah, pretty much all of the cards have to be under 35c. The most expensive card here is Shivan Dragon (25c) so this is pretty much the cheapest playable deck I could possibly make.
I like it. You use a lot of strong creatures, including Shivan Dragon, one of my favorites. Because it is so creature heavy, I'm not sure if you really need so many Act of Treason. Those spots may be better suited for another burn spell or one of the creature boosting enchantments Skilledzero mentioned. Even still, it's a good deck as it is.
There we are. Added enchantments and burn in one card!
Good enchantment, I would have suggested it, but you added it anyway! I like that one and madcap skills a lot.
Yes, that is a perfect addition. Just what the deck needed.
Thanks for the help guys, now to do some testing.
Well I was going to do some testing on Cockatrice... I needed to update the database for M15 so I asked for help and my account was banned for spam. UGH
To bad nothing this cheap will ever be competitive... Or else magic might have a metric shit ton of more players
Yeah, it sure is a shame. But then again, maybe it is a good thing that MtG isn't overly popular.
True, its a tight knit community. Just thankful I have a good job so I can buy the cards I want!
I haven't even left school yet... or gotten a part time job. Oh well, pocket money will have to suffice for now.
I like this one, good job.I put together a standard 6$ R/W as well, 6$ challenge is super fun:.check it out http://www.mtgvault.com/cdngrep/decks/6-rw-heroic/
Pretty much very aggro. Seems nice. A $1.44 investment for a nice casual deck.
Thanks :) that's what this deck was made for
Seeing the low price of "Shivan Dragon" these days, it's hard not to wonder how far some other cards might drop in value if reprinted.(though i suppose power creep could be part of the story)This looks like a fair starter deck(kinda interesting how often Red show up in starter decks)
Yeah, I find red to be a color that can create a cheap, basic deck with ease. Which is why i chose red. And its good to see the prices of classic cards go down, I love seeing old cards get reprinted.
Red also got what most new players want, a fast pace and ofen not needing much explanation.(my first deck was weak, yet put together from a limited amount of cards in a Red/black deck)I wouldn't mind seeing more reprints of old cards, though would feel unfortunate if I had just bought em at the old price.Playing for the fun more than to win, casual player here.(Note Had Fire Elemental in my first deck :) )
Yeah, I'm definitely a casual player too, I remember the days when Fire Elemental would win games and Rares seemed priceless. And I also love red decks like this, because the tactic is just to attack with everything every turn, burn everything the opponent has, nothing too complicated for a new player, and all at just $5.
