Might need some faster creatures or more removal spells

Are you serious? why would i want creatures when i wrath all the time? and i have 8 spot removal spells... 12 counters... 4 mass removals, you have no idea what you're talking about... it's cool though... control decks aren't for everyone!

since your running control i may take out the court hussar for something bigger or maybe a stronger draw to keep control in your hand, but beyond that this deck basically describes pretty strict control but with a couple twists.

Court Hussar is awesome!!! He's a blocker that lands me card advantage and allows me to fetch for more permission and stuff!! He stays in, this deck doesn't work without him, but thanks!!

Perhaps I don't know the card well enough but I think you could find something more effective than the shepherd?

I don't have very much experience with control decks at this point so I will leave it at that.

Ahhh wrath of god + persist. I'm going to leave the above comment to remind me of my failure as a magic player. Lol

Shepherd still seems rather expensive for what he gives, are there no other big creatures with persist?

Yup, now I wish I'd kept my big mouth shut. Shepherd is a perfect fit for this deck lol. End of conversation, no reply necessary.

Hey man i don't know if you remember me its MagicTCGFreak, so like that dude DGF said evereyone runs finks these days (and a few other oddball creatures) and that makes it really hard to wipe the board, you kill their 3/2 but get a 2/1 body and net another 2 life, i would reccoment the one that puts all creatures on the bottom of decks, I don't really know how that works out as I don't play constructed (limited player here just post deck ideas here for fun) but it was always insane in draft playing against those decks with 8 or so persisting creatures, but i don't really know how good it is, anyway just my 2 cents and keep the good decks coming!

i whould say rip the counters you have and go with the clasic ones they arent expensive and theres no reason to use trash like remand
i think that the cryptic comand your using is a litle pointless as what are you using it for a 4 mana counter spell + snap back or draw a card the board should be empty the best bit of cryptic comand is tap all there creatures and smack there face but with a wipe out deck that effect is negated
i do on the other hand love the creature your using they are fast and hard hitting but id throw in some lovely litle ball lightning or something like that as they are 2+1r for a 6/1 trample that dies at end of turn

The problem with your ideas is that i am using this in extended, of which ball lightning is not a part of extended, and neither is force spike, and i like remand, i get to draw a card with it. And cryptic is unbelievawble, they playing aggro? I'll tap them out for a turn, or i can bounce, or i can draw... you, my retarded friend, are a retarded retard

i never disliked cryptic commands at all i just personally feel they are of litle use in a sweep deck as i dont really think they help unless you cant get a board sweep
the remands ill still say arent good they cost the same as a the original counterspell and set them back one turn without actually stopping them playing anything ok you get a card but its hardly a massive bonus
"you, my retarded friend, are a retarded retard" i like the use of retard im not gonna insult you its a waste of effort i didnt like a few cards you chose because there are better alternatives (perhaps not for the cryptics)

tynan krinox has a good point, counterspell is absolutely beautiful. and y not throw in some isochron scepters, youve got tons of instants that r worth repeating

counterspell is not in extended right now, and it wouldn't land me a draw anyway... isochron scepter could be cool though...
