Having problems with mana drought? No more! With this one-drop deck, you won't ever be wanting that one more mana to play your best creature or spell.
Basically, just get out a couple mana and play everything.

not bad +1 :)
Explorer's Scope is a nice 1 drop, but I personally prefer Infiltration Lens. Your little one drops will eventually become blocked, and that's when the Lens brings you so much more advantage. I have a (largely) 1 drop goblin deck that runs it and the extra draw is one of the biggest reasons I win. http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/goblin-sligh/Also, where's Path to Exile?
Molten vortex for all your extra land and more damage?
Not really enough lands for that. 17 lands results in about 28% chance to draw a land, not really reliable enough. It's also why I suggested replacing Explorer's Scope with Infiltration Lens.
I understand that it's not a lot, but in the event you have land and don't need it, you can at least chuck it at the other player or a creature and get some usefulness out of it. It's no different than running shared volley, except vortex stays around after you cast it and doesn't reduce your land count. Don't write off the damage you could get from an extra land or two taking up space in your hand can do. I run vortex and aggressive mining in my modem burn and they work very well . True this isn't straight burn, but it is aggro, which is basically creature burn, so it's worth mentioning
Besides you would only want to add maybe two. No more our it would upset the balance too much
I'm not saying it's a bad use of the extra lands, IF there's extra. But in my experience with my Sligh Goblin deck, a deck with such a low mana curve and low land count, you have already won or lost by the time you reach that state. So in this deck, the card would often end up as a dead card. That said, I use a card that has 'sac a land' as an extra cost in mine (Shard Volley).
Thank you guys for the input!
