i would really like to know what could make this deck better. the cards for this deck right now are under $45 so i can spend a little more. suggestions and ratings always appreciated!

Looks liek a pretty good deck design. One suggestion would be terminate, which is great RB removal. Also if you have a larger budget you could mess around with Grave Titan or Inferno Titan.

Good Luck!

i <3 terminate but its rotating out and i wanted to have something that would be easy to shift with the new set. so thanks. and the titans are OMG cool. but i dont think that they are really necessary here with their power being six and the tokens are good but ill be getting plenty from reassembling skeleton + bloodghast + pawn of ulamog. =D

It's really just the bloodghast and lavaclaw reaches making it any more expensive it seem. I'm contemplating buying the cards to make the less expensive version so I can get into standard and play a little locally. It actually only costs about $11 incl. shipping without sideboard.

Yeah, well there are definitely improvements to be made to it, but I'm also sure I'd end up with a few spare cards I could sub in after some booster drafts and buying the odd booster now and then. :)
By the way I really like the deck, I hadn't made that clear before. It's an awesome concept that I think you pulled together very well.

I can't say I have too many to be honest, being rather new to modern magic, but if I come by any inexpensive ideas I'll be sure to shoot it your way immediately.

Ditch the gorgon flail and replace them with blade's of the bloodchief, with the amount of things you're going to be putting into the graveyard (the skeletons) etc, it would be nice to put +1/+1 counters on something, or if you can get it on your blood thorn even better
