Deck Description

Red is Dead, Black is Back! Lorwyn completely hosed Burn-Based Gobbo play, so this deck is based on a simple combo: with a Warren Pilferer in play attached to a Deathrender and another Pilferer in hand, you can sacrifice the Gobbo indefinetly, as you regain the Gobbo you sacrifice to your hand every time! Get health or mega-pump your creatures!

Post-Lorwyn legal.

Deck discussion for The New Goblins are Black

A lot of Gobbo decks have been coming out since Llorwyn, and this one is by far one of my faves. Nice use of the Deathrender/Pilferer combo, it seems like it works really well. I wouldn't change anything about this deck, it seems set to go. Comment my Forest Beatdown please!

Thanks, and good luck!

I like the deck, but I'm just curious: What is the Fleshwrither doing in here? It's CMC is 4, and you don't have any other creatures with a CMC of 4. I think you should take it out of the deck because it doesn't seem too relevant in this deck. Otherwise, nice deck. I myself have the usual Red Goblin deck, and I love it.

The only problem I see is that you only have 7 cards that let you sac your goblins, they all cost mana to sac and they only give life or make one creature huge, its got potential though.

You have to fix that mana curve first of all. You'll end up passing a turn way too many times for this to have a chance to resolve. Without protection for a combo you need to constantly provide your opponent with threats he has to deal with...
