The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

First and only mill deck I will ever make. I don't really like them because they tend to play by themselves and not really play against another player. Unfortunately the people I play with don't think so, so now I'm stuck making one for a flavor battle at some point in the next two weeks. The deck itself is pretty self-explanatory, it's not an all out mill, protects itself with zombies until the mill becomes devastating. Some fun little combos added in:- traumatize + haunting echoes usually does an opponent in- bloodchief ascension is pretty easy to build up and i think is a must in any extended/modern mill deck- if you don't get a haunting echoes, no problem, just use cemetery reaper to build your armyNow we get to the side board. These are actually cards that might seem pretty useful in the deck but that I can't convince myself are any good for it. Here's my reasoning:- Call to the grave is expensive as hell, and to easy to get around on turn 5. (you probably have some crap early creatures left around that you won't mind sacrificing)- Undead Alchemist is a tougher call. For milling, he's great, but only really works well with trepanation blade. He clashes with almost everything else in here (cemetary reaper, haunting echoes, bloodchief assention). Further more he prevents actual damage from going through, which is a pain. instead of killing someone with 20 life, you mill only 1/3 of their deck.Aaaannnyyyway leave your comments about how you would improve upon this idea, then heck I might even help you out with your deck =)

mask of avacyn instead of trepanation blade, give protection for dralnu and the other creatures and scratch the rooftop storm and add a few more mana

in terms of mask of avacyn, i'd rather use Swiftfoot Boots just because it's cheaper and i don't need the extra +1/+2. That said, i'm also not sure if theres room for protection outside of kill spells which i haven't fit in yet. In terms of roof top storm, i'm a little torn. it works great with havengul lich, and also frees up mana for the many tap abilities im running, and spells cast with dralnu. i think ill pull endless ranks of the dead (not extremely useful in this deck and throw in a couple extra removal/protection.
lol, or maybe just mana leak
mana leak rocks! :)
