Deck Description

This is a mono-green deck with the main focus on creating, and pumping up, wolf tokens. Early on in the game there is mana acceleration with 4 lianowar elves and 4 arbor elves. Wolf-Skull Shaman allows for wolves coming out by turn three (fortunately all the creatures in this deck synergize with Wolf Skull with the exception of Wolfbriar Elemental). Crop Rotation is key for getting out Gaea's Cradle early, by turn two one could significantly increase their mana.

Beastmaster Ascension is key for an early win, considering it could be used with the wolves or the cheap elves that come out quickly. Elvish Visionary helps go through your deck by drawing an extra card on some turns. Elvish Visionary also synergies well with Wrens Run Pack Master, using Elvish Visionary as the elf that you exile because of Wrens Runs Pack Masters "Champion Elf" is generally what I would reccomend because if something happens to Wrens Run (i.e. doom bladed, termenated, ect.) then Elvish Visionary comes back into play and you get to draw wnother card.

Master of the Wild Hunt is great for getting a blocker each turn and can also he can serve as board control, depending on how many wolves you have out you can kill almost any creature.

The other cards in this deck support the main strategy, while still synergizing with the overall win conditions. Eldrazi Monument makes everything indestructible and with all the tokens sacrificing a creature is simple, this also works well with Master of the Wild Hunt considering he will give you one wolf each turn. Doubling Season is great for producing extra tokens and Garruk Wildspeaker gets extra counter on him as well, in fact he technically comes in with six counters. Doubling Season also works well with Beastmaster Ascension getting two counters per attacking creature.

Recently I added Genesis Wave to the deck. This works out well because with this deck you can get a lot of mana. And being able to bring in, on average, about 10-20 Permanents in one turn feels pretty good. Genesis Wave is also nice because the only cards that I can get screwed over on are Crop Rotation and and Genesis Wave itself. Although, chances are if I am using Genesis Wave I have Gaea's Cradle out and losing a Crop Rotation isn't the end of the world. Also, if I happen to lose Parallel Evolution I could always play it using its flashback cost.

Of course Wolfbriar Elemental works with Gaea's Cradle creating many wolf tokens. Wren's Run Packmaster is good at creating wolves and forming a strong defense. With Gaea's Cradle one could create many wolves. Finally Parallel Evolution is pretty obvious, doubles all tokens and has a flashback. With Doubling Season the amount of wolves are just ridiculous.

Over all I love this deck, I've been working on it for close to a year now and I would to see what other people think of it. Please leave comments and rate this deck.

SideBoard: In terms of the side board I usually would say take out a Llanowar Elves, Arbor Elf place of anything else. Of course the Tectonic Edge's would take the place of an already existing forest. The Extra Wolfbriar and Garruk I have incase I am playing another token deck. I would put those two cards in and replace Parallel Evolution with them, because I do not want to be helping the enemy with my own spells.

Deck discussion for The Wolf Blitzers

Add black for Conspiracy and get Turntimber Ranger. There's no reason for a deck like this to not make infinite creatures.

You might consider Windstorm or Leaf Arrow to deal with flying.

This doesn't need black at all, there isn't a point if it's just one card. As for flying, MAYBE sideboard another Spidersilk Armor. Even with flying, with a bunch of wolves out, a few attacking flying creatures is only good if it's lethal damage.

Great deck and great use of combos. I would swap Greenweaver Druid for Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary. If you are going to use 2 drop mana accel then he is what you need, combos well with Oracle of Mul Daya.
