Deck discussion for Quick Counters

Another suggestion paradox haze triggers at least energy chamber and vedalken infuser.

* No Clockspinning?

* Arcbound Crusher would be more useful in this than most of the artifact creatures you are running currently.

* Grindclock is a bad mill card, even in a deck like this. Besides, is that your gameplan, milling your opponent to death? I'd say, remove those and make room for more useful cards.

* Unwinding Clock is a potentially powerful card, but I don't see many cards in this deck that could make use of it, Lux Cannon is basically the only one (you don't even have artifact mana). Three options:
a) Add artifact mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Thran Dynamo, something like this)
b) Add artifacts with tap effects (hundreds of possibilities)
c) Replace it with something else

* Thirst for Knowledge is another excellent card drawer for artifact decks.

The unwinding clock works with the Lux cannon, Grindclock, Magistrate's Scepter, and Coretapper. I've played the deck twice; once in a 6 man and once in a 3 man. Both ended the same way: submission after the lux cannons destroyed everything. I was thinking about mana artifacts but it needs more testing before I decide if they are a necessity.

It may untap the Scepter but what is that worth if you don't have the mana to put another counter on it? The Grindclock is still bad, even with Unwinding Clock. Okay, I forgot about Coretapper. I still think Unwinding Clock is only worth adding if you have artifact mana. Then you can replace Grindclock with, say, Keening Stone if you insist milling is what this deck needs and the Scepter can grant you a Time Walk every turn.

i would still replace grindclock for 1 sol ring, 1 expedition map and 1 tolarian academy.
Maybe vedalken engineer could help get those 4 CMC out earlier.

I like the keening stones but with the coretappers, energy chambers and vedalken infusers; I shouldn't need to pay for the counters on the scepter. I like the spincrusher because it can become unblockable but the arcbound crusher does build faster. I might make that change. The grindclock is supposed to be the win condition but I can look for better. I like clockspinning. Definitely need mana artifacts for that.

This deck requires 4x Darksteel Citadel and perhaps Thran Dynamo. As well Gilder Bairn could be very useful if there is something you can cut for it.
