How to Play

Turbofog, the concept is simple.
Turbo: Howling mine and more
Fog: Fog, Tangle, Moment's Peace ...

The "Turbo part" is really an indirect way of reducing attacks.

In other words, as a general rule, one card is drawn per turn, and there is always one attack phase per turn. That is to say:

1 attack - 1 drawn card. What happens if I use a fog?
I will stop this attack, but if the next turn I would draw a land I will not be able to do it. That fact builds confidence in my opponent.

So, 1 attack - 1 drawn card.

What happens if we have got another situation

1 attack - 5 drawn cards?

We have two things:

- We will draw a fog safely, so I will be able to prevent the attack
- The opponent is going to be overwhelmed and will not be able to manage such a number of cards

In other words:

Normal conditions:
I draw 7 cards (first hand) and them, one card per turn. It's mean that I would have to prevent 52 attacks! so, the opponent will have opportunities to kill me. It's horrible!

Turbofog ideal conditions:
I draw 7 cards (first hand) and them, 5 cards per turn.

(I know this is impossible, because I have to put in play some cards before like howling mine, it's just for example)

53 cards 5 cards drawn per turn mean less 11 attacks. That is why it is an indirect way of reducing the number of attacks.

How we win?
We mill the opponent, and we have Elixir of Immortality to shuffle our deck.

Any synergy?

- Rites of Flourishing + Constant Mists: We can put an additional land into pay per turn, and the Constant Mists's buyback cost is to sacrifice a land. Easy!

- Awakening + Temple Bell: I can tap twice the temple bell, in my turn and in my opponent turn.

How can I win against direct damage?
Pray, or Leyline of Sanctity in first turn. This deck is prepared against creatures, not against storm or direct damage.
