Deck Description

Grixis deck i made almost entirely from Alara Reborn set, I've played with it a few times and it seems to hold its own. Although it has a decent amount of cards that will force your opponent to mill, that is not the usual way I find myself winning with it. The way in which this deck works well is to use high mana cost cards such as Igneous Pouncer to buff up Spellbound Dragon for attack. There is also a fair amount of control to be had with the multiple burn/counter spells along with Blood Cultist to weaken there defense and Blood Tyrant to keep a drain on their life. Also there are few things more satisfying then taking your opponents best creature and using it against them with Slave of Bolas. At the very least it is a fun deck to play with it.

Deck discussion for (Modern) Grix w/ Mill

I like this deck, it is nice and simple :) can i ask what is the price on this deck? , it looks like a budget deck. I dont mean budget as a bad thing, that is what i like the most about it. Another thing is the lands, why only 20 lands and no search lands? Else i like it, keep up the good work ;) One thumb up from me.

Your correct about it being a budget deck, i haven't really looked into how much building it would cost to build from the ground up but the most expensive card in it is only about $1.50 As far as the lands go I've played around with using search lands and found I don't seem to need really need them. This is all up to personal preference of course but I haven't found myself hurting for mana in a game yet. Once again thanks for the comment =)

Its a very nice deck, but u should consider more land/mana fixer-booster, because then this deck is very faster to play, because grixis is mostly this: "do the much damage you can now, and don't consuder next turn"...
