Deck Description

Guttersnipe has come to burn your dreams, and he dares you to make it hard.

How to Play

The bulk of this deck is control-oriented with very cheap spells to confound your opponents. Early on, Fog Bank and Blistercoil Weird are your primary troops, but you should almost never be on the offensive even when using Teleportal.

Once Guttersnipe hits the field, your opponents will likely do whatever they can to get rid of him, so use your instants to keep him safe and burn out your opponent(s).

Late game, putting Curiosity on Guttersnipe gives you more fuel to counterspell and getting Tamiyo's final ability ensures that you never run out of your very cheap counterspells.

The sideboard is built to augment different parts of the deck. Dual Casting is a cheap enchantment to let you cast your cheap spells twice for an extra R, turning your cheap Overload spells into real monsters. Vandalblast gives you Artifact removal when you need it, Pithing Needle can eliminate troublesome combos, and Elixir of Immortality helps against stalling decks.
