Deck discussion for Sacrifice of the Shadowborn

You could make a shadowborn deck a lot bigger than normal and have it be consistent, cuz all the shadowborn and rune-scarred demons, and so it's really possible(and I have) to make a triple-plan battle of wits deck.
plan #1: win with battle of wits. this is actually slower than you'd think, and not as fun as the other ways.
plan #2: win with a bunch of demons. Sac 6 shadowborn, tutor griselbrand with shadowborn, etc. etc.
plan #3: win by beatdow with shadowborn apostles. you play rune-scarred demon, tutor thrumming-stone, then play one or two shadowborn apostles the next turn, get a whole bunch of shadowborn apostles out of your deck onto the battlefield, swing lethal no matter what. if they have a sweeper, fuck it! play another shadowborn and repeat.
all in all, I think shadowborn apostles in modern actually benefit from a huge deck, since you can then get over 100 of them out on the battlefield at once(theoretically, it makes sense to keep about half in case of a sweeper)

this deck that you mentioned is pretty fun tho.

What would you consider a sweeper?

any card that removes the board of all creatures somehow. Bontu's last reckoning, wrath of god, damnation, etc.
the strong point of these cards is that they get around hexproof.

Got cha if the deck was turned in to a Commander Deck then Athreos, God of Passage would not be affected by Sweepers and could recover all those cards, or keep it as is and throw in a Gurmag Angler, Tomb Stalker, Soulflayer, or any creator with Delve could simply harvest that grave yard, I have another deck called Nerf to Nothing with nothing but Swamp and is an attempt at a swamp like burn deck.
