I'll definitely do that with the mana. I can never figure out mana until I play the deck since I'm kind of a beginner. I can't justifying it until at least next month.

You know what I bet would be neat in this deck? Fungal Behemoth. He'd be gigantic if you have a few hyrdas out already

You might like Bone Splinters for it's low mana cost, and Reassembling Skeleton might be nice for this deck

You know, now that I think about it, a "all creatures have trample" option would be so useful late game, especially if my big guys get chump-blocked a lot. Oh well...what doesn't kill my creatures literally makes them stronger since its "+x/+x for creatures in ALL graveyards"

Now, one question to you: I am torn between two sets of cards.
Should I have Grisly Salvage or Commune with the Gods?
and should I have Treasured Find or Disentomb? Disentomb is cheaper but only rescues creatures which corpse hauler can do, treasured find nabs any card.

I didn't choose dread return since it is banned in modern. But I definitely will consider Fleshbag Marauder and Nekrataal. I will probably put them in the 'sideboard' thing for the time being until testing is complete. You're most likely right about needing kill spells, but I can't see what's wrong until I play the deck and it's only then when I know which card I can replace.

Darkblast is something I originally had in the deck...but what would I replace then? Or would the Putrefy be more useful? I guess I could replace the disentomb, I may not need a rescuer card if I have the corpse hauler around.

I wouldn't know what to get rid of until later - my actual first deck, the fun angel one, has gone through so many card replacements that its far from being the same deck it started as. Since this new dredge deck is so cheap I might just have to nab a lot of the cards to test I suppose. My other deck failed for lack of kill spells and I don't want that to happen to this one.
