The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Another of my oldest decks. This one focuses on getting out as many soldiers as possible as quickly as possible, and powering them up in the process.

EDIT: Took out the Soul Parries and Heroes of Bladehold and added Even the Odds and a couple more Daru Warchiefs. Also added some Kjeldoran Outposts for even more token generation. I wonder if the 20 soldier tokens I own will still be enough...

EDIT: I figured I might want to run some removal in this deck, so I added some Swords to Plowshares. I also added some Elite Inquisitors, because you can't go wrong with that card for 2 mana!

Deck discussion for Soldier Legion

Preeminent Captain
Militia's Pride
I would sub out Soul Parry for either Journey to Knowhere or Oblivion Ring

The only problems with Preeminent Captain and Militia's Pride are that most of the creatures I use in this deck will be tokens, and I rarely have anything in my hand by the 4th turn.
As for Journey to Nowhere and Oblivion Ring, the battle is usually over before anything worth getting rid of can enter the battlefield. Even Honor of the Pure is a little slow for this deck, but I think it's a necessary evil.
That being said, maybe I will trade the Soul Parries for Preeminent Captains for a while and see how it plays out.
