After playtesting my old Lich deck a bit, I found lots of things that needed changing. For one thing, the tutor cards didn't really help much and they actually slowed things down a bit. So they're out entirely. Instead I added in a couple Infernal Contracts for some mass card drawing. At first I tried out Sign in Blood, but 2 cards at a time wasn't enough. Since everything in this deck has such a low CMC, I tend to use up my hand really quickly! Besides, losing half your life just makes Death's Shadow that much more viable! Unearth is a card I stumbled upon completely by accident, but it seemed really useful. I mean, it can return just about any creature in my graveyard to play for just one mana! Can't argue with that! Unfortunately, it doesn't work on Phyrexian Obliterators... oh well. The main win condition is still using high P/T low CMC creatures combined with O-Naginata to trample over everything in the first few turns though. And at low life, Death's Shadow really becomes a killer (especially with trample!).

14 swamps? I seriously doubt those would be enough.

It's true, you simply need more lands man. Even with Dark ritual and especially if you're wanting Lake of the dead to work, you need to reliably have swamps. I like the idea, just watch out for other aggro decks that can get some early damage on you too where you'll lose too much life too quickly.
Yes, after testing it out a bit I see what you mean... However, I find that if I add any more lands I just wind up with too many. Really, this deck doesn't need more than 3 or 4 at any given time. Hm, perhaps a few more changes are in order.
