Well, it always irritated me that games were concluded so quickly, just because I ran out of life points. So, I made a deck to counter that. It also uses elixirs to counter mill/draw-death. Easy-cast walls prevent creature damage, lifegain spells and circles of protection to counter direct damage, and ajani's pridemate and angelic accord to bring home the win!
It's pretty simple, really. Almost everything is low-cost, so you can get those walls out early-game. Try to get a pride mate out. Then for mid-game, more walls and cast some spell to raise your life total. You're golden if you can get a well, keeps you from top-decking. Get an angelic accord out if you can. End-game, fling some angels and the giant pridemate at your opponent for the win. If you need more critters, I threw in an immortal servitude to get those suture priests back. It also helps if you lost a pridemate. Pay special attention to the spirit link. Since it is an old one, the rules text says "gain one life per one damage dealt." Therefore, it triggers the pridemates ability multiple times per attack. If it's attached to him, it doubles his pwr/tph each combat, not to mention gaining you a stupid amount of life.
