Shape anew is just terrible in this deck. You have 18 artifacts, so you never know what you're going to get with it. You might be losing your voltaic key for an everflowing chalice with no counters on it...

I can't imagine what I'd take out for them. Possibly a Journey, as they accomplish similar things. And maybe a Glint Hawk? I shouldn't take too much of the creatures out, to keep it midrange. And I'd like to keep the curve low.. I'm thinking; -1 Glint Hawk -1 Journey to Nowhere +2 Contagion Engine
Ponder, Foresee, and Sage Owl all help him set up the right hand of black creatures, while Deprive prevents them from countering the Demon once he gets it and Disperse takes care of any of white's enchantments, and Tainted Strike means he only needs to swing once with the Demon. I agree however that there should be more black creatures. Fume Spitters are very useful. The Demon already has two forms of evasion, so it doesn't need unblockable as well. The Distortion Strikes aren't giving much to this deck, is what I mean. And with this many creatures being put into your graveyard, a Crypt of Agadeem could help you set up a second Demon if you need it.
If you added some scry owls you could lessen the curve without giving up much. I guess I'd suggest lowering the count of titans and engines a few in exchange for owls. And you could add a baby jace or two in place of a couple vensers. Would you take a look at my blue/white midrange?
I run a mono-black Death's Gate deck, but I've been thinking of making it B/G or B/U for a while now. I definitely like how you pull it off. Have you played this competitively or casually? How does it hold up against various deck archetypes?
love it, but you could actually have less mountains. If you think about it, you always want a forest on turn one, to play your mana birds. A turn one forest/birds will facilitate a turn two harrow/cultivate, which can fetch you your mountains when you need 'em. I get that you want a lot so you're drawing into mountains for the Valakut, but you don't have anything that can actually grab the Valakuts for you... Expedition Maps could help out there, as they can search for any land card and not just basic. And if you cut it down to 12 or even 10 mountains and bring it up to 10 to 12 forests, you're going to still be able to consistently grab mountains with all the ramp.
I really love the concept here. I'd probably get rid of the magma phoenixes and go with something a little faster. Keeping with the sacrifice theme, you can have Perilous Myr, which also help you get the artifacts needed for kuldotha rebirth. With a few tweaks, this could be owning at FNM
If you add in a set of Seer's Sundial you could build a card drawing engine to draw into a splashier combo.
-3 Terramorphic Expanse, -3 Evolving Wilds, -2 Adventuring Gear (Doesn't help you. Trust me. When you have it out, you don't want that land drop, you want another creature. In this type of deck, the most land you want out are 4. The Expanses and Wilds are too slow for this) Same deal with the Wall of Omens. Those are geared more towards control decks, and this is all aggro. They have a nice bit of synergy with the Skyfishers, but you really don't want them in your two drop slots. I'd say more Stoneforge Mystics, and the first commenter suggested Squadron Hawks, I agree completely, but maybe just 3 of them. You don't want too many 2-drops. More cheap equipment that's always on instead of the Gear, (Trusty Machete or Darksteel Axe) it's up to you which one, but the indestructability instead of 1 extra toughness tips the favor more towards the Machete. Other than that, your sideboard looks solid. I'd suggest some Celestial Purges, 'cause red and black are going to be some of your toughest match ups. If you can get your hands on some Devout Lightcasters, stick them in your sideboard, otherwise, White Knights should be able to fill their spot fine.
