Started out as a card denial deck back when I was a regular player almost 20 years ago... Since returning to Magic in the last 12 months I have evolved the deck massively to include several new wonderfully nasty cards.I like the black cards with the notion that the opponent can choose the outcome. Dash Hopes is a wonderful way of counterspelling. Similarly Choice of Damnations and Temporal Extortion are just nasty pieces of work that would provide a visceral thrill to any control deck player!Would love to try and bring it up to Modern standard as it's very competitive. Easy choices are to swap out Hordes for another Plague Sliver. Hymns for Mind Wrench or Stupor. The big question is how to replace Dark Ritual as it does benefit from mana boost, although it has enough tricks to go toe to toe with most other deck archetypes I've come across so far.
Primary win tactic is to cause damage and limit the opponent through card denial.A good assortment of other nasty spells and beasties in there should you need to resort to a more direct strategy.

Browbeat and Breaking Point are also "nice" choice cards. :)
