Deck discussion for Radha - Gruul Aggro

Welcome to mtgvault newcomer
(Or if you are an oldie, welcome back from dormancy)

Sorry to disturb, but at the behalf of the community I'd like to warn you that we have been suffering some troll attacks recently.

The troll revives older accounts and use them to like his own decks, and copies decks from here and other sites, and each time one of us posts something that gets a few upvotes he posts these copies, upvotes them and we all slide into the background

Because of this, all new and older accounts that suddenly come alive are viewed with some suspicions.

I'm warning and archivating all of these accounts.

If you want to help the community there is one thing you should know.
Mtgvault has a tag system that helps you search for a tag, using tags will make you easier 5o find longterm. Some of the new people feel ignored and starts copying their own pages which only helps the troll.

Engage in the community, but be aware that if you get no answers you might have tried to chat up the troll. To be seen by the community your best bet is to start by talking in a deck with many comments. Or even start talking on your own pages. The more comments the more people will see that you ain't the troll.

The troll is also lazy and has no time to write details about his decks, so the more you describe your own deck, the better.

I think I can state from us all that we hope you can somehow add more to the community than a raging troll.

Feel free to jump right into any ongoing conversation or "help needed" page that tickles your inner commentator ;)

I'm wickeddarkman, and though I am behind some initiatives against trolls, there are others who use the tag anti-troll to generate awareness of the troll attacks.

I've collected a number of recent troll behaviours, and if you are somewhat curious about those, search for the decktag: wdm trolls
Then click on the deck named: the tools of our trolls.

This greeting is a template that I copy from one of my personal template pages.
Anyone who wants to greet newcomers or old reawakened users should feel free to create their own version.

Before you greet, make sure that the person is new/reawakened by clicking on their username and study what years the person last were active. Read the newest decks to make sure others haven't welcomed them already ;)

Sorry for the very late reply. I'm just only using the site from time to time, mostly to work on building a deck on a sudden idea I got or a new card that caught my interest.

I am not interested in building a large following, or creating any deep interaction with the rest of the community. This explains why I may not always take the time to describe the deck or how to play it.

Thanks for your interest nonetheless and I assure you I am no troll, nor have I enocuntered one yet on this site.

If you take a look at my reputation, you can see that the troll retaliated to my attacks by down voting everything I write in this place.

The poor thing got tired of it, at some point I had -1200, now it's about -914 because I got a fanbase upvoting me as well, and I'm not really bothered at the loss of reputation.
So the troll sort of wears himself out. I'm not scared away, so his choice is to keep harassing me for a lifetime with no real gain, or to give up which means I win :)

For me it's a win win situation, for the troll it's a matter of time before he realizes it just isn't worth the try.

This is a hard place to be seen because of that troll, especially because he sort of annoys the place with commander/ed decks, (maybe because he dislikes it, or because they take up more room) so over time I've put together a small manual on how to be seen, and why it works. Others have done so in the past, but I found a new and better way of doing it.

Search for the decktag: wdm intro

Welcome to mtgvault, try to reach out to other EDH players, because they have sort of become silent, each time they encounter the troll they think the problem lies with them when they don't receive an answer, so if you reach out and get no answers it's either one of the trolls accounts or it's someone who isn't here often.

Notifications only last for a week.
