I would like to start a discussion on how to make a different approach on modern slivers based on the Legacy deck Counterslivers (or Meathooks), while that deck is way more powerful due to some broken things like the almighty [Crystalline Sliver] and the "free" counter [Force of Will] (among others).I won't pretend this deck to be competitive on the current meta, but I'd like to make it at least as playable as a CoCo Slivers. Just for fun.
Mostly I want to play my slivers using Aether while saving mana for counters.Sideboeard counters are meant to be versatile, wihle not counter ards in sideboard are pretty straightforward to play against certain decks.

NOTE: Set by owner when deck was made.
Would Opaline Sliver be good enough? It does cost three mana, but its ability seems powerful...

I have tested him on a CoCo slivers mostly as SB against decks like Jund and Grixis, but even there it proved not being that great, it will do nothing against wraths, and it does not trigger on abilities, for which I cutted him out, I think is not good enough to include him since it does not costs 2 mana (I want to cap Vial on 2 counters). What do you think about counters?
