Why Misty Rainforest and Bloodstained Mire ?

it's to have more fetchland then just 4xPolluted Delta. Why there's only 2 Polluted Delta can have many reasons, them being expensive and not available to the player is the most obvious. Avoiding Pithing Needle or extripate on Polluted Delta can be another reason but it's unlikely.

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is disgusting to play against. What a mistake to print a card like that.

But that's the beauty of Reanimator! You don't HAVE to be the one playing against the Praetor, you can be the one running it!

Blazing Archon and Iona mainboard is imo a better option, but then again my group plays a lot of agro and / or creature heavy decks.

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is the reason Reanimator is a deck again. before that and after the banning of mystical tutor the deck was dead.

As a Reanimator, I have to agree with Sethrial, it makes me sad but there was a good time I gave up on the deck competitively.

Iona is still in my deck, but I have found that the optimal split to run two copies of Jin-Gitaxias and only one copy of Iona nowadays.

Jin-Gitaxias is the ultimate in "You lose, DEAL WITH IT!" scenarios, but I'm kind of glad about that. I've always enjoyed reanimator, or at least playing against it, and now its new toy has ironically, brought it back from the dead =P

Skunked an extractor today because of Jin :D When you only have the first two turns to extract everything(three if you manage to kill Jin), the game kind of swings to my favour.

A regular at our shop, and the guy who managed to beat 4 out of the "7 Decks", showed me his newest version of his Reanimator today....It used Liliana of the Vail. I HIGHLY recommend you give her a try...she's just plain nasty =]

Eh, I've been trying her since Ethan seems to be on top of the situation in regards to testing my trusty frying pan, and I've found her kind of lacking actually.

Well you're designs don't run Drituals though if I recall...his do. Turn 1 Liliana is surprisingly difficult to deal with. Also, I think much like all Extractors are the same, Reanimators are very similar too. Aside from Reanimator he plays Lands, MBC, and Stax...

:D Doppleganger power!

And yeah I guess in the Ritual versions she'd be pretty awesome, I'm more focused on the whole 'you think you're playing magic? nooooope.' Side of Reanimator. Once upon a time I ran a build with two dark rituals, but I could never get over the disadvantage it brings

why 3 jin-gitaxian probe:\ u only need 1 to put your oppenent in a horrible position. also, u would mill yourself in like 3 turns. i would replace with an avacyn, angel of hope. that would put your oppenent in a horrible too because they can't destroy anything of yours

With exhume, since another creature is put into play under your opponent, you want some advantage on creatures, try a Reya, she at worst is a target for some removal as you bring out the rest.
