Blue is slow so hightide is nice, other than that the counters and returns will keep the enemy at bay and the cheap creatures will keep anything coming at you at bay til you can over come.If you dont mind spending a lil money, Isochron Scepter is horribly mean in blue decks.

Those are all such excellent cards! I only wish All of them were modern legal lol. Me and a friend play together in THG tournaments here at home and this blue deck of mine slows our opponents enough for him to get some HUGE eldrazi out lol. I do LOVE Guile. that thing is just mean lol. And at the time, I was too poor for isochron scepters, but ive got a little more cash now, so ill probably throw one or two in here. Thanks again bud!
no problem, and counterspell is the only thing here that shouldnt be modern legal, other good choices instead of counterspell, mana leak, dissipate, runesnag, spell pierce, condescend... Those are all modern legal =p
