Deck discussion for Angels n Elves

Nice take on it =] Arbor elf with elvish guidance is so much mana in elf decks haha That always super charges my genesis wave in my angel elf deck

Hopefully you dont think I just copied your deck. We should find a way to collaborate and put a deck together using both our brilliant minds 0.o that sounds like a terror and a half! lol

haha naw, ideas sprung from my decks I take as compliments. My deck focuses heavily genesis wave and primal surge, your deck uses genesis wave moderately and focuses more on dropping the creatures yourself, even if you did copy me it's cool =p I don't own rights to how decks are built, and you gave me a shout out anyhow that I inspired ya.

Nice touch tho with greater auramancy and luminarch ascension.

Haha I couldnt tell ya many ways to improve my angel elf deck, other than I need 3 more temple gardens. This deck wins or assures a win within the first 5 turns 90 percent of the time, If i hit turn 5 and dont look like im about to win then that was a bad game. I prefer to take the win turn 3 and 4 =p

The faster the better! I usually try not to let my enemies fight back. Ruthlessly fast and terrible wins are the way to go!

I try to give credit where its due. You've been very helpful to me basically since I started putting decks and ideas up here! Its been much appreciated!

I figured if I can use angelic skirmishers to lifelink my way into luminarch ascension, why not drop even more angels? Call down the entirety of heaven! And the greater auramancys are just a way to cover myself from leaving an opening somwhere somehow. Offense is great, but it doesnt always take the place all the way of defense.

skirimishers are pretty cool, you can give your creatures abilities on your opponents combat phase too so thats really nice.

And hey once you have the mana ramp, it's all about what you do with it, and you can go so many different ways, trying to immediately take a win doesnt always work (tho it usually does, but not always), so why not make it impossible for the opponent to win instead haha all the while giving yourself an almost unstoppable offense. =p

That's my thought precess! Ive got the capacity to win, but still have a way to almost perfectly stop myself from losing! Wonder how much of a stalemate itd to pit these two like decks against each other 0.o

you gotta look out for Karn, in a stalemate, he'll end it by starting it over with the advantage on my side haha.

With decks like this all it is is a race, mad dash for the mana ramp and blow up, usually all done in the first couple of turns. Turn 3 thru 5 is when every turn needs to be feared.

True dat! The only reason I dont have Karn in here, is hes just too expensive, and too cheap lol (as if the rest of the deck isnt cheap). Unless he dies, hes usually a HUGE win condition, and it just makes the game too easy. Dont like letting opponents fight back, but I do enjoy a bit of a challenge lol.

Karn is in my deck as an insurance policy and he's expensive to play in most decks, but 7 mana is pretty cheap for mine haha

Im talkin more cash wise lol. Hes one of the most expensive planeswalkers if memory serves lol. And I personally cant justify buying of of him.

Now that is a completely understandable reason, haha its the main reason i dont run quite a few things people suggest to me on here

Usually I dont mind buying expensive cards, like archangel of thune, I just dont like Karn lol. Hes almost too strong, kind of like Jayce, The mind Sculptor.

Jace is still much more powerful tho, especially with his mana cost at 4. Not to mention jace is 140 dollars, karn is 30 haha

The way they behave is very similar. Maybe it was a bad example, but they both irritate and annoy me the same lol.
