Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Sorceries (1)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

(AKA Thoughtblade 2.0) Its SUPER important in this deck to always connect with Surrakar. He pumps your hand full of cards. When you're in a comfortable position drop venser's journal and psychosis crawler. This deck is somewhat budget (no Jace) with surprisingly many commons. I'm working on improving the sideboard as well. Please comment!!!

The idea for the deck before MBS had the card "Thought Gorger" as a finisher instead of Psychosis Crawler and was UBW. This is my attempt at improving it

Wow. Nice deck you got going on here. For traditional UW Control you might wanna think about cards like Wall of Omens or maybe a Ratchet Bomb instead of Day of Judgement.

Wall of Omens is kind of slow for this deck and I don't really think it needs it. Ratchet bomb is actually a good idea ill try to playtest +2 Ratchet Bombs and -2 Day of Judgment

Whispersilk Cloak for the Spellblades? Then you'll never miss and it gives them a little protection.

I playtested it with some cloaks today, but Whispersilk is kind of slow and wont add charge counters to Spellblades. Its also easy to bolt or staggershock it in response to equipping it and normally I wont have any mana to counter.

Why doesn't it add charge counters to them? It's easy to bolt in response to an equip... But it's easy to bolt in general and your ENTIRE deck is built around this guy. Permanent protection for him would be a wise choice.

It doesn't add counters because it's an artifact and not a sorcery/instant. I might try to -2 emerge unscathed and +2 cloak or something. Thanks for the feedback tho
