Deck Description

this deck i meant to get out big beastie....sphinxes! the basic "lockdown" for this deck is....
T1-land
T2-canonist
T3-stormblade
T4-master transmuter
T5-Tezzeret

if u end up getting this it basically means u can get out any artifact from a) tezzert b) use transmuter {or use it twice with tez} or c) transmute a Summoner Spjinx couple times.

if u need it ( or as preperation) grab the scoureglass asap

all in all this deck has all basises cover except mill (there isn't much u can do about that anyways) =)

ive revised a lil bit by adding the 2 adjudicators 4 unsummons and 3 cancels...the control is even more controling
(i also was receiveing a a short on mana sometimes so i added 2 more terramophics)
enjoy plz respond/make comments

(thank you for your time)

Deck discussion for How Did You Get That Ute?-COMMENT PLZ

You need thousand year elixer, some good counter spells, and you need to drop some of the crappy creatures like ethercaste knight and esper stormblade.

those are there for low fast creatures to transmute

im thinking of cancels adding (3)
unsummon (2)
call to heel (3)

the last two is just funny and effective w/ canonist

I understand the thoughts behind the deck and agree for most parts but the basic lockdown is a bit enthusiastic, three colors and very expensive cards. But still against some decks this could be great. The canonist can be killed quite easily but that could be helped with a counterspell with a drawback that requires the caster to pay 1 colorless or something like that. You say all basises are covered; then how do you deal with a "shock" in turn one, two or three when your all tapped out?

emisun i kno i cannot prevent all things from killing the canonist...thats y i run with 4...i will never hard cast a sphinx in this deck thats is what the transmuter is for...or possibly tezzeret there has not been a deck that has beaten it yet...not even black/white tokens or bant weenie nothing i came across can hadle a sphinx of steel wind on turn 5.the only trouble ive had was against my friends type 1 artifact.........cuz of memnarch, other then that this deck has flaws yes, but i can recover fast and compensate with sharuum

I actually play a deck almost identical to this. It's very powerful yes, and nothing feels better than dropping an Inkwell Leviathan on turn 5.... but it only takes two or three games before the shininess wears off and people start burning your Transmuter. What's really embarrassing is getting Shocked after you've already paid the mana and returned a creature. :)

Throw in some Thousand Year Elixirs or One-Mana Shroud enchants and you'll be golden. Toss the Stormblades for some Etherium Sculptors to speed up the big Sphinx drops to turn 4. The Sculptors actually help a lot in late-game, too, by the way, since your Transmuter will likely be burned, bounced, burned again, countered, naturalized, everything. You may have to actually play some of this big, shiny creatures Manually. ;)
